Here is some nifty keyboard tricks with Photoshop’s transform tool that you might like.
ctr + T to transform the layer.
ctr + shift + T, this allows you to use the last applied transformation keeping the layer proportionally scaled from the last transformed layer and also keeps the pixel information.
ctr + alt + T, allows you to transform and duplicate a layer in one action.
ctr + shift + alt + T, allows you to transform, duplicate and use the last applied transformation to the layer.
